Volunteers in Action!

Here are a few of our pantry volunteers packing food, representing our program out in the community, and having fun!

Our team of dedicated Delivery Friends keeps Grace Packs moving!

We are all about finding ways for our volunteers to use their strengths to serve in many different ways.

OUR BOARD

Destiney DiGuardia
Director

Destiney has always had a heart for serving others, especially children and families in need. With a professional background in project management and nonprofit leadership, she brings both organization and compassion to her role at Grace Packs. As a homeschooling mother of three, Destiney understands the challenges families face and the importance of making sure children have what they need to thrive. Her heart for service began years ago through volunteer leadership and has only grown stronger through her walk with Christ. Destiney feels incredibly honored to serve as Director of Grace Packs and to continue the mission of ensuring children in our community have food every weekend.

“It is such a blessing to witness how God provides through the generosity of this community. Grace Packs is so much more than food – it is hope, love, and a reminder to children and families that they are seen and cared for.”

Pat Agricola
Vice President

After working for 37 years in healthcare, I retired here to Florida with my husband.  I joined Grace Packs in 2017 because I felt it was time to give back to the community. In 2020, I became Pantry Coordinator for Grace Packs, which gave me a great perspective on volunteering and serving our community. Our volunteers come to the pantry each week. They are so full of joy and enthusiasm and love for the mission of feeding our children.

I am grateful for the lessons they have taught me; we are all called to serve our community, true service is done with a willing heart; it does not have to be a huge project, even our small acts can have a lasting impact.

Andrea Pierson
Secretary

Being fairly new to St. Lucie County Schools, Cafeteria Manager, Andrea needed to see what the difference would be in the children after introducing them to the Grace Packs program.

“I heard from the teachers about the children’s improved grades, how they were making strides in social areas and knowing they did not have to wait until breakfast at school to have a meal. The more they took food home, the more their grades and smiles improved. Please help us by continuing this worthwhile cause.”

Shayna Morales
Treasurer

Shayna Morales serves as the Treasurer for Grace Packs, bringing a heart for stewardship, faith, and community service. She is married to her husband, Brad, and together they are raising their daughter, Miranda, who is currently in 7th grade at Sunlight Christian Academy. Shayna is passionate about supporting families and students through practical care rooted in Christ’s love, and she is grateful to use her gifts to serve the mission of Grace Packs.

Her favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1:

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
