GRACE PACKS...
LOVE PROVIDES
Our goal is to furnish breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items at the end of each school week to students who may be suffering from food insecurity.
GRACE PACKS
The mission and joy of Grace Packs Inc. is to provide weekly weekend food for students who lack an ample food supply, relieving the burden many of these children endure by being hungry.
BE INSPIRED
That’s right! We love sharing stories about those working to end food insecurity in our community. Select the pictures on the right to learn about what people of all ages have been able to accomplish. We hope that by sharing these stories, you will Be Inspired to get involved in the fight against hunger on the Treasure Coast and abroad.

We are touched by the ways American Legion Auxiliary Unit 318 members continue to embrace our program. From hosting food drives to making generous donations to hands-on work in our pantry, these ladies have beautifully shown care and kindness to our children for many years. Thousands of students have carried home much-needed nutrition because of the selfless efforts of these members.
Recently, one of the members of this all volunteer group anonymously surprised volunteers with thank you gifts.
Did you know that The Auxiliary is the world’s largest women’s patriotic service organization? We are thankful for members’ unwavering support of veterans, their impact on many programs in our community, and the help they have generously given to our children.

We remember West St Lucie Elks #2823 members, who from the beginning embraced our program and beautifully impacted our hungry Grace Packs children. These members generously donated, delivered and assembled food, donated family food boxes, hosted fun Christmas parties for our children, and even sent kids to Florida Elks Youth Camp in the summer.

Friends of Grace Packs use their ideas and resources to feed our hungry children. Meet Linda Chastain, fearless leader of The Peanut Butter Brigade, an initiative she implemented in 2020 to benefit our children. In previous years, we have only been able to send home peanut butter two or three times a year. Upon learning that this has been a special wish list item, Linda decided to engage the community in bringing in jars of “the perfect protein.” Engage she has! To date, nearly thirty thousand jars have been donated by schools, living communities, local businesses, and private individuals. Grace Packs children have been able to carry home jars of peanut butter on a more regular basis this year because of Linda’s willingness to lead the charge!

We are inspired by the ways Port St Lucie Elks Lodge #2658 has embraced the mission of feeding local food insecure children. Through employing grant monies to purchase food that fills our shelves and nourishes our students to private donations of food and finances, these members have been such a blessing to our kiddos. Lodge #2658 members also sponsored a Christmas party to the delight of our Grace Packs and children their families. We see love in action as they walk in their motto, Elks Care, Elks Share !
