Our Community Is Inspiring!

St Bernadette Knights of Columbus Council 13042 members offer support in the mission of feeding hungry children in many ways. These gentlemen and their families have helped assemble hundreds of Grace Packs, transported food to our schools, raised money through church and community events, and even used their own vehicles to pick up and unload pallets of food for our pantry!
Local Knights Councils have made a beautiful impact upon our program over the years.

PSL Newcomers Club generously ‘gives back’ by engaging members to make a difference through supporting community organizations. Members have jumped right in with our program, partnering with us to bring nutrition to hungry kiddos through various ways, including hosting food drives, offering financial support, and through hands-on work in assembling Grace Packs and using their own vehicles to transport food weekly to our schools.

Sometimes our families just need a little extra love and that is where Ms. Marva comes in. Marva assembles bags of family-sized food items that make a difference for families experiencing extra need. We believe this personal touch represents love in action!

Quarter Auction Fun! Thank you to Holy Family CCW members for sponsoring quarterly auctions, fun-filled evenings which bring beautiful support for our Grace Packs children.

All Villages Presbyterian Church and Christian School have lovingly impacted our community’s food insecure students. Meet ‘The Sunshine Ladies’ who have lead the fight against hunger at All Villages, engaging members and families to raise food and gift cards for our children and families. These ladies have also assembled snack packs, a yummy and creative way to bring protein to our kids.
If your church or school would like to follow suit and host a food drive, please contact us at info@gracepacks.org for current wish list items.

Students helping peers? Yes, Please!
We are so grateful for Ms. Hogan’s Centennial students who come to the pantry each month to assemble Packs for their hungry peers across the district. This class is able to participate through CBI, Community Based Instruction, which allows students to make an impact in the community while strengthening job skills. We thank Mrs. Hogan, her paraprofessionals, and of course, her fabulous students for being an inspiration!

Is your club looking for an impactful way to help others in our local community? The Ohio State Alumni and Fan Club of the Treasure Coast members recently hosted a season-long food drive and even sponsored a good natured ‘throwdown’ between two of its game watch locations. Members contributed liberally and brought much-needed nutrition to our area’s hungry students, while cheering on their favorite team. Go Bucks!
